Matthew Lieberman is an illustrator based in Sacramento, California. Matt studied illustration at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco with an emphasis on children's books and comics; he holds a BFA in illustration. Matt is also credentialed to teach art and science and currently teaches middle school art in the Sacramento area.  Matt takes influence from the natural world and the creatures that inhabit it, as well as from a copious collection of comic books, children's books and graphic novels. He currently resides in Sacramento with his wife, their cat, a small, white dog, four ducks and his baby boy, Oliver.
